A Digital Thesaurus of Ethnic Groups in the Mekong River Basin

This research was aimed at constructing a thesaurus of the ethnic groups in Mekong River Basin that is compilation controlled vocabularies both Thai and English language, with digital platform enables semantic search linked open data. The method involved four steps: (1) organization knowledge content; (2) construction thesaurus; (3) development platform; (4) evaluation. concepts theories used comprised organization, construction, development, system tool for developing Tematres web application. results are: there are 4273 principle words related to have been compiled classified by terms each eight deep levels, 2596 were found hierarchical relationships, 6858 had associative relationships; able manage storing vocabularies. When retrieved, vocabulary, details broader term, narrow cross reference, scope note displayed. Thus, viable through applications, data technology, services.
